아이칼리(ICarly)를 성공 궤도에 올려놓은 배우 출신 프로듀서 댄 슈나이더(Dan Schneider)가 니켈로디언 채널을 위해 제작한 새로운 TV 시트콤. 헐리우드의 유명 예술 고등학교(라고 설정된) 헐리우드 아츠(Hollywood Arts)로 전학오게 된 빅토리아(VIctoria)의 좌충우돌 학교 생활 이야기를 다루는 이 시리즈는 지난 2010년 4월부터 방영되기 시작해서 오는 10월 8일 12번째 에피소드가 방영 예정이다. (1시즌은 총 20편으로 예정되어있다.) 그런데 음악과 춤이 중심이 된다는 면에서 마치 '한나 몬타나'와 흡사하고, 같은 프로듀서가 제작하기에 아이칼리와의 유사성을 피해갈 수 없기에, 일단 초창기 드라마 내용에 대한 평단의 반응은 그리 썩 좋지만은 않다. 하지만 주인공 빅토리아 역을 맡은 빅토리아 저스티스(Vicroria Justice)의 노래 실력은 우수하다는 평가를 받고 있는 상태.
1993년생으로 플로리다 출신인 빅토리아는 이미 길모어 걸즈(Gilmore Girls)와 에버우드(Everwood) 등에서 아역으로 출연한 경험이 있는 배우로, 2005년 TV 시리즈 '조에이101(Zoey 101)'에서 첫 고정배역을 따낸 후, 이번 드라마로 확실한 주연급 배우로 성장중이다. 이 드라마에서 그녀는 매 에피소드마다 적어도 1곡 이상을 소화하고 있는데, 그 중 이 시리즈의 타이틀 테마곡인 <Make It Shine>은 그녀와 닥터 루크(Dr Luke), 마이클 코로란의 공동작품이다. 가볍게 즐길 수 있는 흥겨운 틴 록 트랙이다.
