Michael Jackson - One More Chance (from DVD Set [Vision])

미국 시간으로 오늘 현지에서는 발매될 마이클 잭슨의 영상 컬렉션 DVD 세트 [Vision]을 통해서 최초로 공개되는 공식 비디오클립. 원래 2003년에 발표된 베스트 앨범 [Number Ones] 에서 처음 소개된 이 곡은 당시에 바로 뮤직비디오를 공개하려 했지만 음반사인 소니측과의 마찰로 인해서 결국 촬영만 하다가 완성시키지 못했다고 한다. 그 영상을 그의 사후에 이번 DVD 세트를 만들면서 촬영 분량들을 바탕으로 편집해 완성한 뮤비다. (뮤직비디오에서 마이클의 클로즈 업 샷을 거의 보여주지 않는 것으로 보아 그 이전 단계에서 촬영이 중단된 것으로 보인다.) 관객과 가수의 위치를 완전히 역전시킨 영상의 발상은 '제발 니들이 내 입장에서 생각 좀 해봐!'라는 마이클의 당시의 항변처럼 보인다. 그의 첫 사후 앨범이 될 [Michael]에 담긴 새 노래들이 실제 그의 목소리가 아니라는 논란이 아직도 계속되고 있는 가운데, 이번 새 노래들은 과연 어떤 평가를 받게 될 지 궁금하다.
