이제는 올드 스쿨 힙합 역사의 전설이 된 런 디엠씨가 1987년 자선 앨범 [A Very Special Christmas]에 수록했었던 곡이자 중학교 2학년 겨울, 캐럴이라면 전통적 구전 트랙이나 <Last Christmas>와 같은 달콤한 곡이 전부라 여겼던 내 편견을 완전히 무너뜨린 노래. (아마도 메이저 레이블 음반에 담긴 최초의 힙합 캐럴이 아니었을까?) 이제는 추억이 된 1980년대식 올드 스쿨 힙합 그루브와 귀에 익숙한 캐럴 멜로디를 삽입한 브릿지, 멤버들의 랩까지 완벽하게 크리스마스 분위기를 내는 창작 캐럴의 클래식이다. (하도 주변이 크리스마스 분위기가 전혀 안나서, 이렇게라도 크리스마스가 오고 있음을 느껴보련다.)

I picket the wallet up then I took a pause

Enough to buy a boat and matching car with ease
But I'd never steal from Santa, cause that ain't right
So I'm going home to mail it back to him that night
But when I got home I bugged, cause under the tree
Was a letter from Santa and all the dough was for me
