작년에 여러 외국 뮤직 매거진에서 베스트 10에 그들의 2009년 데뷔작 [Sigh No More]를 올려놓았고, 현재 올해 그래미상 최우수 신인상 후보에 올라있는 멈포드 앤 선즈의 데뷔 싱글을 철지나서 올린다. (관심이 작년에 딴 데 더 많이 가있었던 내 과실이다. 쩝.) 그런데 플릿 폭시스(Fleex Foxes)의 음악을 모던하게 만들어버릴 정도로 구닥다리 포크-컨트리-블루그래스에 기반을 둔 이들 음악은 왠지 모르게 정감이 간다. 그들이 부디 그래미 신인상을 타기를 기원한다. (참, 그래미 수상은 내가 기원해서 된 적이 별로 없는데 어쩌남? T T)
