1. 로큰롤에서는 가장 미국적인 것이 가장 장수한다 : 그것을 팝 메탈(Pop Metal)로 포장했건, 얼터너티브 스타일에 포장했건, 아님 컨트리 록에 포장했건 간에 미국식 로큰롤의 뿌리에 충실한 사운드를 보여주는 밴드들은 팝 역사상 꾸준히 장수하고 있다. (톰 페티(Tom Petty)와 부르스 스프링스틴(Bruce Springsteen)이 그 대표사례 아닌감?) 존 본 조비와 리치 샘보라는 가장 미국적인 사운드의 근본이 무엇인지를 알고 곡을 쓰는 친구들이다.

2. 앨범 [Have A Nice Day]는 본 조비 후기 작품에서는 [Crush]만큼의 매력을 갖고 있으며, 옷이 80년대 가죽 빽바지가 아닐 뿐, 곡 전개는 80년대와 크게 다를게 없다. 그리고 정말 오랜만에 이 싱글 [Who Said You Can't Go Home]을 통해 '미국 시장에서는 버림받은 한물 간 밴드'라는 오명에서 벗어날 수 있었다.

3. 특히 이 노래는 정말 컨트리 록적이다. 오죽하면 이 곡의 다른 뮤직비디오 버전에서는 컨트리 여가수랑 듀엣까지 했던가! (그 버전의 에어플레이가 이 싱글의 빌보드 차트 순위 상승에 지대한 공헌을 했다는 뒷소문도 있다.) 올해 최고의 주말 드라이빙 송!! (누가 나보러 집에 갈 수 없다 그랬어?를 외치며 그대, 떠나라!)

5. 사족: 예전에 앨리맥빌 동영상 다 구했단 얘길 했는데, 마지막 시즌의 앨리(칼리스타 플록하트)의 마지막 애인으로 존 본 조비가 '빅터'역으로 등장한다. 물론 끝내 둘은 헤어지지만... 공사판 근로자로 일하는 빅터의 모습에 끌려 그의 엉덩이에 앨리가 코를 대고 냄새를 맡던 그 동물적(!) 장면은 결코 뇌리에서 지워지지 않는다..ㅋㅋㅋ
