Olivia Newton-John & Cliff Richard - Suddenly (from OST Xanadu)

 

비록 그리스(Grease)만큼 영화가 대박을 치지도 못했고, 국내에 정식 극장 개봉도 못한 작품임에도 불구하고. 재너두(Xanadu)는 이엘오(Electric Light Orchestra)와 올리비아 뉴튼 존 진영이 각각 이뤄낸 그 아름다운 영화 음악들 자체로 80년대를 추억하기에 충분한 사운드트랙이었다. 그 가운데 올리비아와 영국 팝의 신사 (이제는 할배가 된) 클리프 리차드(Cliff Richard)와의 이 듀엣곡은 지금 들러도 정말 사랑스럽고 아름답다. 그런데.... 최근 국내에서 뮤지컬로 [재너두]가 상연되고 있는데, 여기서 남자 주인공 역할이 슈퍼주니어의 강인이란다......안습.....--;;; (그를 무시하는 건 아니나, 원작 영화를 생각해보면 그리 매치가 안되어서..) 그래서 그 중 이 곡의 한국판(?) 버전도 아래 덤으로 붙여보니, 감상 바란다.
