음악을 듣다보면 때로는 앨범을 처음 접했을 때는 쉽게 귀에 각인되지 못했는데, 나중에 두번째, 아님 3-4번째 싱글로 커트되어 차트에 오르거나 뮤직비디오와 함께 보게 되면 매력을 느끼는 트랙들이 있다. 요새 내게 그런 노래를 꼽으라면 비욘세의 새 싱글 [Irreplaceable]인데, 내가 HOT TRACKS 1호에 앨범 리뷰(왼편 사진을 클릭하면 크게 볼 수 있음)를 써놓을 때는 좀 팝적이란 생각이 들어서 베스트트랙까지 올리진 않았었는데, 프로모션용 뮤직비디오의 내용이 너무 인상적이어서 호감이 가기 시작했다. 노래 또한 어쿠스틱 터치가 강조된 연주가 돋보이는 팝/R&B트랙이다. 남자친구와의 '행복한 결별(!)' 을 노래한 가사의 뜻을 알고 싶으시다면 뮤직비디오의 내용을 유심히 보면 충분히 판독가능하니 여러분의 이해력을 테스트 해보시길... 아래 영상은 그녀가 11월 11일 BBC가 미국의 'You Can Dance'와 비슷한 포맷으로 진행하는 아마추어 댄서들의 서바이벌 경쟁인 'Strictly Come Dancing'에 출연한 영상을 추가했으니, 그녀의 라이브 실력과 여성으로만 구성된 이번 그녀의 백밴드의 매력도 함께 느껴보시길...
