Clotho님의 트위팅을 보다가 갑자기 생각이 나서 포스팅하는 노래. 밥 딜런의 고전임은 누구나 아는 사실이지만, 개인적으로는 이 곡의 여러 커버 가운데 이 버전을 가장 좋아한다. 고3때임에도 감상하러 극장에 갔던 영화 '7월 4일생' 의 여운이 남았기 때문일까? '머나먼 정글'과 함께 베트남전에 대한 또 다른 관점을 갖게 해준 영화 중 한 편이었다. 톰 크루즈 그 때 참 연기 잘 했었다. 하여간 이디 브리켈의 목소리는 지금 들어도 여전히 매력적이다. 애수와 히피즘이 동시에 묻어나는 목소리다.

P.S. 벅스 뮤직에는 이디 브리켈(Edie Brickell)의 앨범은 뉴 보헤미안스 시절까지 해서 딱 두 장이구먼... 이 앨범들도 괜찮은 작품들이니 이 곡이 맘에 들으셨음 찾아 들어보셔요..^^;
